The Axalp annual demonstration provides a unique and challenging environment for showcasing the capabilities of modern military aircraft. This event isn’t just about aerobatics; it’s about demonstrating the power, precision, and versatility of these machines. The highly anticipated Italian presence marked the first time F-35s take part in the show, and was the star of this year’s iteration.
Two F-35A were based in Ghedi for the occasion, providing photographers the chance to spot 6-01, the first 6° Stormo F-35, which is yet to be delivered and still based in Amendola Air Force Base.
